Then one day after she had missed the meeting she called me. Needless to say, I was surprised. She told me that she was on her way to the meeting when she was rear-ended on the Golden Gate Bridge. My first reaction was, “yea, right!” thinking it was just one more excuse.
She laughed and said, “If that isn’t the universe’s message to shove me towards the meeting, I don’t know what would be!”
I have to say I was duly impressed. Rather than getting upset about the accident, she looked for more meaning in her experience.
And, yes, she joined Elite Leads and stayed for three years until she moved out of the area. She also became one of my best referral resources because of her consciousness.
I truly believe when anyone is going through challenges in their business as well as their lives, it is a notice of helping us understand there is something else we must do. What we are doing is not right and our course of action needs to be altered.
Again, it is the ability to pay attention and make the changes in our course of action that will help us avoid extreme levels of stress.
